Classis Red Mesa E-mail Announcements

The Red Mesa Foundation is providing a weekly announcement list-serve through which members can post announcements regarding church, school or classis activities that are of general interest within Classis Red Mesa. Announcements will be compiled and posted either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning for each week that there are announcements.

To post an announcement you must do two things:

1) Verify that you are member of the list-serve. If you are a member you received a subscribe notice and you also received notices. This is different than the Red Mesa News List-Serve. If you have not or don’t remember whether you’ve received notification that you are member, please send an e-mail message with the word “subscribe” in the subject line to redmesa-announce@redmesafoundation.org.

2) Send an e-mail before Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. to have your announcement included in the weekly news bulletin to redmesa-announce@redmesafoundation.org. Your announcements may be edited for clarity or brevity. Announcements that do not pertain to Classis Red Mesa will not be included.

Four Golden Rules

for using Directory Information and Announcement List-Serve

1) USE DIRECTORY INFORMATION for Classis, Church and School Business, not for personal business. If you accessed the information because you a member of Classis, do not use the e-mail to do things like sell insurance or send an invitation to your child’s birthday party.

3) KEEP E-MAIL MESSAGES SHORT, TO THE POINT AND INFREQUENT, so they won’t get ignored. Some people receive huge volumes of e-mail each day, especially at work.

4) DO NOT use either the directory e-mail information or the announcement list-serve to send those inspirational or funny e-mails. Save those for your personal lists of people who you know appreciate them.
