Red Mesa Foundation Endowment: First Distribution in 2009
The Red Mesa Foundation is building an endowment for sustaining transformational growth in the Churches and Schools. Currently the value of that fund is around 1.4 million dollars. The fund is being managed by Barnabas Foundation.
The Red Mesa Foundation will distribute 5% of the fund based on the 2008 year-end total in the fall of 2009.
Classis Red Mesa and the Red Mesa Christian School Association are providing priorities for the distribution of the fund. They will also provide guidance to the Foundation in developing an application process and reviewing funding requests.
The Red Mesa Foundation board of directors, which is comprised of members who represent both the Classis and the School Association, will finalize the decision about distribution by Fall 2009.
The Classis Red Mesa Church Ministry Finance Committee has conducted a participatory survey of the Classis Red Mesa Churches and Missions which will form the basis for the Classis ministry priorities.
